  • Superintendent Message
A warm welcome to our new and returning students and families. The Trico School District is at the center of six great communities and is truly reflective of all the wonderful families that we are proud to call neighbors, family, and friends.

Every year, our outstanding faculty and staff is leading the way to prepare our students for the next grade level, building-level transition, military service, college, and successful career that will lead to a rewarding adult life. While we are making significant progress in adding instructional, emotional supports and academic opportunities, there remain learning gaps that continue to exist for some of our students. Eliminating these gaps is the issue that we are striving to address. As Superintendent of the Trico School District, I am personally and professionally committed to providing endless opportunities that allow each student to reach their full and unique potential.

Honestly, the best parts of my job are visiting with students, working alongside faculty and staff to create a learning atmosphere second to none, and collaborating with community members to further strengthen our partnerships.
Thank you for the privilege of serving your family, your children and our community.

    Sincerely,

    Larry Lovel, Superintendent
