Congratulations to Chris Paez for placing 27th today at SIJHSAA State in cross country. Yesterday we also had an assembly for him with the cheerleaders.
Friday was the PBIS reward day. Thanks to Mrs. James and Mrs. Wright for a great day. We had 87% of our students qualified. We had movies, pizza, soda, games, and Simon Says. The students were very well behaved.

Today the Mrs. Fisher had a book "tasting" for the junior high students. The tables had different styles of books at each table. Students rotated to each table, sampling each kind of writing styles.

Congratulations Mrs. Laura Goetting for receiving the Meritorious Service Award tonight presented by ISBE in Bloomington. Any student that has had her as a teacher knows it is well deserved.
Thank you to Mrs. James, PBIS, and the TJHS faculty and staff for an excellent last day. We had inflatables, food truck, games, student awards, and a senior parade. I hope everyone has a great summer.
The Junior High will be having End of the Year Funday this Friday, May 17th. Please see the attached picture for menu prices. Kinkaid Candy will also be here and their prices are as follows: candy $5, pickles and fruit $7.
Eli Schaber and Aubrey Coleman represented TJHS well today. Eli shot a 90 while Aubrey shot a 95, earning her 8th place overall. A 2-hour rain delay made the day a bit more challenging. #BeAPioneer
