February news letter for 6th grade.

This is just an example of what the teachers do on the Wednesday early out days. Today we analyzed STAR data both vertical and horizontally. We are always striving to make this school the best we can. #BeAPioneer

We hope to see you Saturday night. Let's fill the gym with blue and gold. #BeAPioneer

Please come support the Trico Band and play some Glo-Bingo. We hope to see you there.

It is time for the 5Essentials Survey. If you take the survey we will give your student a homework pass and you a free popcorn at a ball game. You can take the survey at home or I will have a table set up tonight and tomorrow night at the basketball game. If you take it at home please take a screenshot of the finished survey and email it to me at rcoleman@trico176.org. This is the survey link: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
Under county, please pick Jackson County and Trico Jr High for the school. Thanks for your time and for helping the school.

No school today, 1/19/24. This is a snow day not a remote learning day.

Job openings.

We are very proud of our students.

Today Ms. Hamlin had her algebra class learn about scatter plots and best fit graphing. The student shot paper balls into a trashcan from different distances. They used this data for their "hands-on" learning.

The TJHS students donated over 300 books to the Little Free Labraries in our communities. #BeAPioneer

Come join us for a great cause.

I would like to give a special thank you to the TJHS faculty and staff for a great literacy night. We had over 150 people attend. THANK YOU to the families, students, and staff. #BeAPioneer

We are having phone issues again today. We apologize for the inconvenience.
6th Grade News Letter for December

Thanks to the cooks for the great meal today. They served turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, rolls, gravy, and pumpkin dessert. If kids don't want supper tonight, this may be why.
